What is Document Attach in Dynamics GP?
The document attachment feature in Dynamics GP allows you to easily maintain copies of important documents relating to the different record types within GP. The documents stored on the records can be easily previewed directly within GP without needing the download the file every time. The feature helps to bring all document storage into one shared location within the Dynamics GP database, providing solutions for issues related to auditing file changes, collaborating with coworkers, and maintaining access to the documents when working without access to shared drives that may exist on-site.
Copilot features in Dynamics 365 Sales – Form fill assistance
We’ve written a separate blog post discussing some of the most useful Copilot features in Dynamics 365 Sales. We want to add to that conversation by discussing another new feature that is designed to help you enter data faster, and this new feature is called form fill.
Importing existing Outbound emails into Real-Time in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights-Journeys
Creating marketing emails is a core part of any digital strategy, and a marketing platform like Dynamics 365 Customer Insights—Journeys (formerly known as “Marketing”) makes real-time email campaign creation and management a breeze. If you’re a current Outbound Marketing customer, you may be wondering what the transition to Real-Time means for you and the things that you currently do in the Outbound area of the application. Namely, all the time and energy you’ve spent building and sending marketing emails in your Customer Journeys. But good news: you can very quickly and easily import your existing emails to use in Real-Time Marketing!
Our top picks: The most useful Copilot features in Business Central
Business Central has included the occasional AI feature here and there for a while now, but recently, with Microsoft’s 2024 Release Wave 1, more and more are being added. Though all these features prove useful for various needs, there are five features we believe are most valuable to our clients and the broader Business Central user base.
Exploring the Sales Process in Dynamics 365, part 4: Dashboards
Within Dynamics 365, it’s easier than you may think to create a dashboard yourself, and it’s a process that can be repeated multiple times over to ensure that you have the right data visualization for specific needs or user roles—for instance you can create a salesperson dashboard to show salespeople their open leads and opportunities and where they are in the pipeline, and you can create a sales manager dashboard to help managers see what their team has on their plates).
How Business Central and Outlook can work hand-in-hand
When working with a Microsoft application like Outlook, you’ll notice the emphasis on productivity throughout the entire application interface, not to mention a seamless connection between all the business applications you might need from Microsoft.
In fact, the ability for all your systems to work in sync was likely a huge draw to Business Central in the first place. Business Central can be easily integrated to an Outlook account, but did you know that there’s a way to open up and work within Business Central, right from your Outlook window?
Make custom views with filters and columns in your Dynamics 365 Sales lists
In Dynamics 365 Sales, you have the pre-built list views available, which you can customize by changing filter and columns. This is one example (and some of our favorite parts) of the extreme customizability of the app’s interface. You can build your own views with only the data you want to see. Then you can save those views to use later, share them with your team, work with that data, and even export it.
What is “Forward to a friend” and why does it matter in my marketing emails?
As a marketer, your analytics count. When it comes to sending emails, did you know that you might not be getting all your campaign insights, particularly when your email is sent along to other people outside your initial audience? But not to worry. It's easy to set up and use a "Forward to a friend" link to make sure you're capturing those analytics. Plus, you can make sure your new recipients have the same excellent inbox experience with your marketing efforts as your original audience.
