What activities can you expect at Summit?
The “New to Summit” orientation is a meet-and-greet in the afternoon the first day of Summit (Monday, Oct 10). Attend if this is your first Summit conference and get the lay of the land from others who have attended before.
The expo is an enormous room filled with booths staffed by representatives from Microsoft Partners and ISVs. Come and mingle with the community you’ve built in previous years—or begin to forge your own network of Summit contacts. The expo is where you get to pop around and learn about what’s out there. Academy classes take place all day Monday and for half of the day on Thursday.
There are hundreds of educational sessions throughout the four-day conference that range in ability level and system experience (from beginners to advanced levels of knowledge and skill). These sessions include in-depth, hands-on bootcamps, trainings, and lectures, plus many speaker panels. Many of these trainings and sessions are eligible for CPA continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
There will be a few large-scale speaking events, including an Opening Keynote and a Women in Tech panel.
Community Summit NA is a once-a-year chance to gather with other Microsoft users in a space that encourages growth, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
