On March 2nd, Microsoft announced they would be providing 6 free months of Microsoft Teams licensing in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. What is Microsoft Teams?

Yes, Microsoft is offering 6 free months of Office 365 E1 licensing (this includes Microsoft Teams). This license includes web versions of Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Exchange Online (email), OneDrive and SharePoint (cloud storage), and Teams. As mentioned above, these Office 365 applications are built with communication and collaboration in mind meaning integration between them is seamless and intuitive.
